About Strengthening of the Church:

The Strengthening of the Church committee (SOC) is a care team interested in the well-being of the church’s family. We focus on coordinating and executing activities within the Church to include fellowship meals centered on health and wholeness; Bible and enrichment studies; special holiday receptions/parties (Easter luncheon; fall church picnic; helping with youth parties; and Christmas caroling). The SOC oversees various youth programs at St. Andrews: Cub/Boy/and Girl Scout troops, youth groups (JAM, Kids for Jesus, and God's Team); the church nursery with scheduled nannies; an industrial kitchen, along with supplies and cleaning; a weekly after-church refreshment schedule; and registrations and maintenance of the church’s bus and van.
